Weekly Teleconference Study of Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey into Christian Hermeticism by Anonymous

There is a burgeoning renaissance of Tarot decks and scholarship going on today. One remarkable contribution to the development of the esoteric tradition of tarot is the anonymous volume: Meditations on the Tarot. Though the author was well known in anthroposophic circles, we respect his wish for anonymity by realizing that the insights conveyed in these meditations are to stand upon their own as a version of traditional Christian Hermeticism, and not as spiritual or personal innovation.

We realize that some people recognize our anonymous author himself as a channel for deeper Christian renewal. No explicit Christian faith or other confession is required except a willingness to understand what the book says as the bases of our discussions.

All orientations toward esotericism are welcome on these teleconferences as unanimity of opinion is neither encouraged nor avoided.

We have completed our study of this text. There will be opportunities for study in the future. We are now reading the Graphic Novel Promethea by Alan Moore. Visit the pages devoted to that project.
